How much does event photography cost?

From $800 for a half day or $1,400 for a full day, with around 50 fully edited photographs an hour and an online gallery.

How soon do we get the photos?

Within one week. Your edited photographs are in an online gallery for you to download.

Will you photograph the moments on our run sheet?

Yes. Send the run sheet and the moments that matter, the speeches, the awards, the people who must be in frame, and they go on the shot list before the day.

Can we use the photos for marketing and press?

Yes. Your company owns the finished photographs, so you can use them on your website, social channels, newsletters, recruiting and press. It is all agreed in writing when you book.

Who owns the photos?

Your company owns the finished, edited photographs. Dario keeps the unedited raw files and may use the images in his portfolio.

How long do you stay?

A half day or a full day, planned around your run sheet so the moments that matter are covered.

What kinds of events do you photograph?

Launches, office openings, anniversaries, awards nights, client evenings, galas, conferences and company parties. If it is a company gathering in Calgary, ask.

Can you photograph staff headshots at the same event?

Yes. A headshot corner at your event is $200 an hour with a two-hour minimum. For a team headshot day, it is $70 a person. See the headshots page.

Who takes the photos?

Dario Hudon, who photographs runway and backstage at fashion weeks in Mexico City, Montreal and Edmonton. Event rooms ask for the same habits: low light, people moving, and getting the picture without stopping the room.

What do you need from us?

The date, the venue, the hours, and the moments that matter: speeches, awards, a team photo. A run sheet helps if you have one.
